Destination of the Week "Chamba-Himanchal Pradesh"

amidst lush greenery, scenic picnic spots, and cluster of tiny villages. This historic town was established by Raja Sahil Varman of Pahari dynasty, during the 10th century. It is named after Champavati, the king’s daughter, Champa.

Besides being a lovely hill station, Chamba is also loved as a monsoon getaway by discerning travellers. Subhash Ghai’s musical hit movie ‘Taal’ is perhaps one of the reasons, why travellers love to flock here. The movie captures the breathtaking scenery of Chamba in the rains.
