JHUMHAR-CHAMBA HIMACHAL PRADESH:-
On Sunday morning my cousin and i decided to go for a drive to Jhumar,Jhumar is located 22km away from Chamba in Himachal Pradesh.This place is all covered with dense forest of deodar trees.Local people take a short trek to Jhumar & complete this journey in two & a half hour.since we were on our bike so took half an hour to reach this spectacular place & you will feel a drastic change in the weather here it is much colder than Chamba,In winters it experiences the first snowfall.You will see a small temple dedicated to Snake God Known as "Nag Mandir"& you can also see apple orchids & other local fruits if you visit during peak season.
You need to book or hire a taxi for Rs 500/- 800/- for a full day in advance from Chamba as transportation is a huge problem in this region.If you have been to Kasauli ,kufri, then i must recommend you to visit Jhumar .................
